Dental Insurance Plus, Why is my dental insurance deductible so high
Question: I just got my dental insurance package that I get though work. I do not understand why it shows on the dental insurance that the deductible is $150.00. $150.00 is about the amount I would have to pay anyway for my basic dental care without insurance. What is the point of having money taken out of my pay check for dental when I have just a high deductible?
Answer: I really can not help you address a group dental plan you get though your employment. Our dental PPO plan have a $50.00 deductible per person but maxes out at three people per year making a total of $150.00. I can not say this is the case for you however. I would suggest you call the dental insurance company for a better understanding of your policy coverages.
